KHSIPRA GANAPATHI
Appearance:

Among all the forms Kshipra Ganapathi is believed to satisfy the devotees immediately. The lord appears in red hue complexion with four hands. On his main right hands holds a broken tusk and on the main left hand holds sprig of Kalpavriksha (wish-fulfilling tree) and on the other both hand holds noose and elephant goad. The trunk of Kshipra Ganapati is curved towards the right upturned holding ratnakumbha (pot containing precious jewels). Makayiram (Mrigashirsha) Nakshatra is related to Kshipra Ganapati. Worshipping Kshipra Ganapati form of Lord Ganesh is believed to give knowledge. Meditating every day the lord will help devotees by granting long-life and fulfills their wishes.

In this form Lord Ganesh is considered quick rewarder of the wishes and instant punisher of the wrong. Kshipraprasada Ganapati appears in crimson red hue complexion with six hands. Also in this form he appears with third eye and with crescent moon on his crown like Lord Shiva. The lord is seated in Kusha grass throne, a sacred grass for Hindus. His big belly represents the manifestation of the universe. On his main right hand holds his broken tusk and on main left hand holds the twig of Kalpavriksha (Wish Fulfilling Tree). On the other hands Lord Ganapathi holds a noose, an elephant goad, pomegranate and a white lotus.

"Ganapati the Speedyle". He has four arms. He is red in colour. His hands show the single tusk, the elephant goad, the creeper of the votive tree (kalpalata), the noose. With the end of his trunk, he carries the stone cup full of precious stones (ratnakumbha).
